Itinerary

Upon arriving in Manali, you will check into your hotel. Following lunch, you will be introduced to your motorcycles and given a brief rundown of how to operate them. You can then take a short ride to test the bike yourself. Later in the evening, the tour leader will provide an introduction to the tour, and if you need to make any purchases, you can visit the local market.

After breakfast, you will begin your motorcycle journey through the Himalayas from Manali towards Sojha in the Banjar Valley. Along the way, you will cross the Kullu Valley, which is also known as the "valley of gods." From Aut, you will take a diversion towards the Banjar Valley, which is home to many beautiful places in Himachal that have yet to be explored by tourists. After passing through Jibhi, you will arrive in Sojha, where you will rest for the night after enjoying a hearty meal.

Following breakfast, we will depart from Sojha and proceed towards Sarahan, a quaint village that houses the Bhimakali Temple. The temple, originally known as the Bhimadevi Temple, is over 800 years old and is dedicated to the mother goddess Bhimakali. After exploring the temple, we will retire for the night at the temple guest house, where dinner will be provided.

Today, we will begin our journey from Sarahan and make our way towards Sangla, passing through Thach, Karcham Dam, and Shaung. The Sangla valley is widely considered one of the most beautiful valleys in the country, with houses and temples constructed in the Kinnuari wood and stone style. The valley is also home to dense forest slopes and apple orchards, which produce the world's best quality apples. Upon reaching Sangla, we will have dinner and retire for the night.

After breakfast, we will journey towards Chitkul, the last village in the region, which is a stunning village that remains untouched by tourists. We will then ride towards Recong Peo to prepare our permits. Along the way, we will visit the confluence of the Satluj and Spiti rivers at Khab. Nako, a small village situated near the Indo-China border, will be our next destination. After arriving in Nako in the evening and checking in, you will be free to explore the village located on the banks of Nako Lake. In Nako, you can visit the Nako Monastery, which dates back to 1025, as well as several other Buddhist chortens. Additionally, you can visit Nako Lake, which is believed to have the footprints of Padmasambhava. This lake also freezes during the winter, providing a venue for ice skating practice.

We will begin our day with an early breakfast and ride towards Kaza along the Spiti River. Our first stop en route will be Tabo Monastery, founded in 996 AD by the great teacher Richensang-Po. The monastery features nine temples, four decorated stupas, and several cave shrines adorned with frescoes and contemporary structures. We will then continue our journey towards Dhankar, where we will visit the Dhankar Monastery, a stunning example of local architecture that sits high over the valley. This monastery was once a fort and served as the residence of the ruler of Spiti. After visiting the monastery, we will proceed directly to Kaza, where we will have dinner and stay overnight.

After breakfast, we will start our journey on motorcycles from Kaza to Chandertal, crossing the Kunzum Pass and taking some offbeat tracks to reach our campsite. In the evening, you may take a short walk towards Chandertal and enjoy its stunning beauty. We will have dinner at the campsite and spend the night there

Today will be an exciting and adventurous day as we will be riding on some of the most challenging off-road tracks, crossing several water crossings and dusty roads. After reaching Khoksar, we will have smoother roads and eventually cross through the Atal Tunnel, before finally reaching Manali and witnessing the lush greenery of the area. We will then check into our hotel in Manali

The tour ends so we all say our goodbyes and well wishes.
